How the secret works: after you order, your doctor or a friend emails orders@berrylemoncakes.com one word, pink or blue, with your order name, at least 3 days before your date. Only I see it.
Included in the price: a relatively simple hand-piped design, such as roses, pearls and "Oh baby!" lettering. More elaborate designs are quoted. Gluten-free on request: add it to your order note.

A tall cake that keeps the secret until the first slice. On the outside it looks the same either way; inside, the sponge or the filling is pink or blue. You don't need to know which: I find out privately, and nobody sees it until you cut the cake.
How the secret works: after you order, your doctor, a friend or whoever holds the envelope emails orders@berrylemoncakes.com with one word, "pink" or "blue", and your order name. Please have it sent at least 3 days before your pickup or delivery date. Only I see it, so the surprise is safe.
Where the colour goes: in the sponge (vanilla, coloured all the way through), or in the filling between the layers (white chocolate ganache or Swiss meringue, tinted pink or blue) with a vanilla or chocolate sponge.
Sizes: 6" serves 20–25 ($160). 8" serves 30–35 ($185). Both are four tall layers with two fillings, round or heart-shaped.

Gluten-free: a gluten-free sponge is available on request. Mention it in your order notes and I'll confirm.

Made in a home kitchen that is not inspected by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets. The kitchen also handles nuts, dairy, eggs and wheat.
