Hi, my name is Susana! 

I come from the tiny, picturesque town of Reguengos de Monsaraz in Portugal — a place so small that everyone knows your name… and probably what you had for lunch. Growing up surrounded by beauty, light, and tradition, creativity was never optional — it was simply part of life. Whether it was painting, crafting, or experimenting in the kitchen, I have always had a passion for making things with my hands and heart.

My love affair with food truly began when I got my own kitchen and discovered a powerful truth: nothing brings people together quite like a delicious home-cooked meal (or an irresistible dessert). What started as a hobby — hosting friends, reinventing recipes, and adding my own twist to classic flavors — quickly became a source of joy, pride, and, quite often, empty plates.

By day (and for nearly 20 years), I have been an Orthoptist, helping people see the world more clearly. But in April 2025, after welcoming my youngest daughter, I decided it was time to look inward and follow a different kind of vision — one made of butter, sugar, flour, and a lot of love.

Today, I pour the same precision, care, and creativity I used in my medical career into my baking and cooking. My creations are playful yet elegant, comforting yet refined — made to be shared, celebrated, and savored.
